Summer Staff
Camp Counselor:
a Job with Purpose
You will have the rest of your life to work in your field of study, at a career you’ve always dreamed of. Being a camp counselor is a unique experience that is typically available for a small window of your life. When you are a counselor, you be part of a long Camp Loughridge history of people who recognize the investment others made in them when they were kids and are eager to do the same for today’s children. Are you ready to positively impact the lives of children, have a blast outdoors, and make memories and friendships that will last forever? Then working at Camp Loughridge is for you!
COUNSELOR POSITION OVERVIEW:
If you know somebody who has worked at a summer camp before, ask them if they loved it. Chances are, they will tell you it changed their life! Being a camp counselor is exciting because your job is to talk, play, explore, and remember what the world looks like from a child’s point of view! A reminder of that perspective can genuinely change how you return to school or work at the end of the summer. The experience is a gift that you get to keep the rest of your life. It changes you forever!
